About

My name is Adam and this is my website. It is my personal foray into information security.  I’m interested in exploring a broad range of topics and issues in the industry that include: programming, penetration testing, encryption, vulnerabilities, networks, certifications, social engineering, and the impact of network security on individuals, businesses, and nations.

This website is a running record of knowledge related to those topics and is intended to be used as my personal reference and playground.  It enables me to learn, research, and most importantly, make mistakes.  By developing this website I hope to increase my understanding of information and network security.

A little about myself: I’m a student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where I study computer engineering with an emphasis in computer networks and communication systems.  In a previous life I served in the U.S. Navy from 2002-2008 as an Electronics Technician and worked with various shipboard and shore-based communication systems. I enjoy running, baseball, and taking things apart without regard as to how they should be put back together.
